XUQIOUZH'S!!

The story revolves around the students, their lives, their insecurities, friendships, rivalries and ambitions. Two guys and the unavoidable journey called life. XUQIOUZH’S!! is a light-hearted look at these two young men living in a city.

Sagaro and Josh, the two main characters, have very little in common with each other, except the warmth, camaraderie and fun that they share. Hailing from different backgrounds, both of them seem to have their priorities worked out and prefer to follow their own path towards fulfilling their ambitions. But destiny has another trail set for them. Circumstances force them to come together.

The story also brings into play various other elements that shape the destiny of the two protagonists and the various other students, teachers and parents. Touching upon the socio-economic divide, peer pressure, teenage dilemmas and other growing-up pangs, the story attempts to empathize with the adolescent in his quest for freedom.

The dreams, aspirations, attitudes and quirks of the two men and their eventual coming to terms with their own selves form the basis of this cheerful, slice of life drama. Josh sheds his immaturity, Sagaro learns to love while both of them triumph over their inadequacies.

Tackling quintessential male issues that impact the average urban male, XUQIOUZH’S!! is a series that reflects life in a big city and what it means to be a man, with all its faults, failures and successes. In short, a story for our life and times.

Josh: Well, it all looks very simple, but, Josh's problem is one of excess. He loves too much, wants too much out of life and knows too little about anything! And that, in a nutshell, is Joshreeth Roy.
He also has the problem of being talented but directionless. He is a star in Cults. - a position that came to him very easily. The talent was inherent and he was at the right place at the right time. He believes his life can be bigger than it is. He is hungry for more excitement, more experience and more money!
He also is on the look out for perfect love and has a mental picture of what his ideal woman would be like. Josh learns to accept reality, find true love and eventually make peace with his restless inner self.

Sagaro: As far as love was concerned, Sagaro started out thinking he "will meet the special woman, marry and have sex, children etc.," which later turned into "will meet special woman, have sex, maybe marry etc.," which then turned into "have sex" - and that's where he is right now. To the audience, he is not a very 'nice' guy. So Sagaro has done everything that Josh wants to do, he is free, independent, successful and well to do. But the cost is that he is cynical. And actively, in his solitude, indulges in self-loathing. Sagaro is a problem solver, who can crack every code. He is a tech wizard and an outcast with the others since he’s a computer geek much tinier most boys his age.

Josh and Sagaro
Sagaro and Josh are thick friends who are also partners in crime. Sagaro is a thinker and the brighter of the two, and Josh is, well, happier, sportier and by far the more popular one. They came to be friends on a school Electronics-Project, where as usual, Josh had gotten himself into some trouble with the authorities and Sagaro, using his over-active grey cells, managed to get him out of it. They’ve been thick as thieves ever since.

Their Relationship
Sagaro, being quiet and reclusive, doesn’t have too many friends. Josh on the other hand is quite a likeable and popular chap at school. Sagaro quite likes the fact that he has a popular friend, not realizing that Josh in his own way looks up to him and looks to him for guidance.

Josh is largely influenced by popular culture; Will Smith, Eminem et al. Sagaro mostly scoffs at his dress sense and his use of hip-hop slang. They both fulfill a unique need in each other, and are therefore bonded, despite being radically different.

Their People

Sravan
Sravan is Josh’s younger bro. He is a cute guy, doing his schooling. Very mischievous and damn irritating. He and Sagaro never get along with each other.

Ram
Ram is Sagaro’s brother. In Sagaro’s view, Ram has everything one can ask for. He is good in studies, good in cults., great with girls and good in sports. What Sagaro doesn’t see is this: more than all this Ram is a good bro.. He helps out Sagaro in every situation. Ram tries his level best to be friends with Sagaro. He discusses his college stuff with him. On the other hand Sagaro just doesn’t bother to tell him anything.

Smrthy:
She is Josh’s Girl friend. Josh is bloody serious about her. She is a wonderful girl and unfortunately has a boy friend ‘oready. She and Josh get along really well and bond as good friends. Sagaro hates her for some unknown reason. And doesn’t seem to be liking the idea of Josh sharing her company.

Mari
Mari, Sagaro’s mathematics prof., is the bane of his existence. He’s a perky ol’ guy and almost always in Sagaro’s face. This is aggravated more by his silly comments on his friend, Josh. Everyone else except for Sagaro likes Mari, for one Mari is a good teacher to all, secondly he doesn’t pick on others and thirdly he never gets hold of them.

Peri - Sagaro's Father
He is a hard working Manager (Bank), mostly pre-occupied with his job and related meetings. The main connection between father and son is chess, though he’s a doting father to Sagaro’s Brother. He tries hard to be the same for Sagaro, but doesn’t always understand his drift and has very little patience with his son’s friend Josh.

Nacha - Sagaro's Mother
She is a loving mother and good homemaker and extremely concerned about the mismanagement of her son’s intelligence. She tries to keep up with the times but is sometimes baffled by today’s generation. She is the peacemaker, and almost always gets caught in between father and son’s clashes.

Roy - Josh's Father
He has been able to run a successful business. At the moment, he is running a Printing Press. He believes that his son’s place is right by his side, in the company. He doesn’t give too much importance to education or even his son’s varied interests. He has an appetite for food and the good things in life.

Mrs. Roy - Josh's Mother
She is a bit disappointed with her son’s efforts and on the contrary, believes that her son is made for bigger things. She is a doting mother and her son is the apple of her eye, which makes her believe anything he says. She is always encouraging Josh and stands by him as much as possible. She is a lady of leisure and enjoys her kitty parties and Sunday lunches.

The story is gonna be in the view of Sagaro…
